We had the chance to experience some dog sledding in Vermont a few weeks ago. We stayed at the facility with the dogs – think there were 43 of them.  We didn’t actually sleep with the dogs, but they were right outside our window.  The place is called Eden Dog Sledding.  The dogs were great, the accommodations a bit overpriced.  We had a few issues with the small cabin we were in – couldn’t use 2nd bedroom due to broken pipes,  and strong septic system smell.  Well, it was 15 below – but hell, thought the folks in VT were supposed to be able to deal with the cold…  But, all in all, a pretty neat experience.
